DIY | Bunting

So today's post is going to be my very first DIY project! :)  Bunting! :D It takes abit of time so come on lets get going!

Average time: 2 and a half hours (around that! I took a few breaks!)
Now I never sew and stuff so it was pretty challenging for me! And I had to get my mom to teach me how to sew but other than that it was simple!
It costed around €12 for the fabrics and ribbon but that could be different in in each shop.
                              You Will Need

Firstly you either fold  you're materials evenly around 3 or 4 times or if they are already like that (mine were) leave it like that!
Then you draw a triangle (whatever size/shape you want) on one of your folded materials
Try and find the sharpest scissors you can! Because we learned that normal scissors aren't that great :/ Cut out the triangle you have drawn :)
Once it is cut out you will open it up and there will be around 4 triangles!
Next, you get one of the triangles that you cut out and use it as a template to draw the triangles on the next fabric.

And then once again you cut out the triangle :)
Repeat the process of drawing and cutting out the triangles on the other two materials

With all the triangles cut out start pinning your triangles on to the ribbon so it will be much easier to sew them on.

Now its time to get your sewing kit out!
My mom teaching me how to sew :3

Just keep sewing on the different triangles, remembering to leave a small gap in-between the triangles

And there you have it,  that's how you make bunting! Now its you're turn to try it out :D Good Luck! And I would love to see how it turns out :)

This is how it turned out...

Of coarse you can use different patterns on your bunting but I wanted a cute shabby chic look :D To be honest I'm pretty happy on how it turned out :D
Hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you want more DIY's!
